SUPERSTUDIO

"…if design is merely an inducement to consume, then we must reject design...We can live without architectrue"

Their work is often mistaken for actual proposals. Maybe becuase it is hard to imagine today that architecture can be used as propaganda to fight the negative tendencies of design. This radical movement described as "Anti-Design" created the opposite of a fondation, rather a void or room to breath. This territory was colonized by a number of young trouble makers including Koolhaas, Hadid, and Tschumi. It has been decades since Superstudio turned their radio knobs to the radical station and all we have produced today are playlists of robots, cartoons, and trite curiosities.

Don't worry you are in the right place! We decided to give our website a break over the weekends to celebrate some of the people who inspire us. Each weekend we'll post someone new. If you would like to check out our work please download our online portfolio or see what's going on now on Facebook.
